The Farr Law Firm has donated $5,000 to a feasibility study evaluating the possible economic impacts of building a signature facility in the downtown center of Punta Gorda. The donation is spearheaded by attorney Darol Carr.

The project is gaining momentum thanks to the support of local business partners and organizations.
The money donated will be applied to costs associated with conducting the study on the feasibility of a signature premier facility in Punta Gorda. The Charlotte Harbor Aquarium Committee is coordinating the feasibility study.
The study will examine all possible pathways to boost the local economy through the expansion of the arts and culture, education, tourism, boating as well as retail and service businesses. The objective is to strengthen the downtown region, ideally placing an aquarium or other educational and entertainment attraction, at the center of city commerce.
The Farr Law Firm is one of the first businesses to sponsor the study.
