Carman-Ainsworth Education Foundation Launches Deal Site: Community Link Online
Unique Restaurants, Salons, Spas and Classes Featured Soon; Proceeds Benefitting Local Businesses, School Organizations and the Carman-Ainsworth Education Foundation
Flint, MI, June 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- FLINT, MI – The Carman-Ainsworth Education Foundation is happy to announce the new, hyper-local daily deal program: Community Link. This program supports local businesses and various organizations of the Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools, all while saving community members money at the same time.
Community Link is a group deal program that drives new traffic to merchants, supports school organizations and leverages collective purchasing power to provide local deals that offer huge savings for customers. Businesses can sign up on the Community Link website and offer a special deal to Community Link subscribers. Members can then purchase the deals they want. The revenue generated from each deal is then split between the local merchant, the school group the buyer chooses and the Carman-Ainsworth Educational Foundation.
Currently, Community Link members can choose to donate a portion of their purchase to one of the following organizations: Carman-Ainsworth Band and Orchestra Boosters, Carman-Ainsworth Football Parents Club, Carman-Ainsworth Robotics Programs and Carman-Ainsworth Safe Graduation Night. More groups will continue be added to this list, including those from other school districts.
“It really is a win-win-win situation as it supports businesses that drive the local economy and allows community members to save money on the things they love doing the most,” Sue Allen said. “This program will give community members the opportunity to donate to school programs they care about.”
A quick look at some of the upcoming deals in June:
· Half Off King Kone Mini Golf at King Par Superstore
· $5 for One Month of Unlimited Cooking Classes at SmartKitchen
· $50 for $150 to Spend at Skaff Furniture
Community Link is an organization dedicated to creating sustainable revenue sources that support local businesses, school groups and student organizations.
