Medicare Supplement Insurance Conference Likely to Sell Out
Registration for the Sixth National Medicare Supplement insurance (Medigap) Summit may close due to record early registrations according to the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
Los Angeles, CA, June 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The number of early registrations received for the Sixth Medicare Supplement Insurance Conference may create the first sold out event conference organizers announced today.
“This would be the first sold out event for the conference,” explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The conference takes place September 9-11, 2013 at the FireSky Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The two and a half-day conference is the only event exclusively focused on Medicare Supplement insurance, also referred to as Medigap. "The conference brings together insurance companies, consultants and distributors of the increasingly popular protection primarily marketed to seniors who receive Medicare benefits," Slome explains. "The record registration may be due to heightened insurer interest, health care reform or just the desire to network with peers from across the industry."
The conference features tracks focused on Medicare Supplement insurance administration, pricing and the latest legislative and legal updates on both a national and state level. "This year, we have added a series of optional pre-conference sessions focused on technology which is increasingly important to remain competitive," Slome notes.
According to conference organizers, the event is restricted to about 300 registrants. "It simply is a limit of available space within the resort," Slome states. "Once we reach that number we will regrettably not be able to accommodate additional registrations."
