Fullerton, CA - Regional Leadership Event Features HIU Alumnus
CEO and Identity Evangelist of Minus Zero and Hope alumnus Sabastian Huynh will speak at the Southern California Gathering of Men breakfast events.
Fullerton, CA, June 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Hope alumnus Sabastian Huynh (MBA, ’07, BS ‘01) will be the featured speaker for the Southern California Gathering of Men (GOMSC) Spring Breakfast Events.
Huynh, who was born in Vietnam and immigrated to California when he was three, is the CEO and Identity Evangelist of Minus Zero (www.minuszero.com), an organization that provides leadership-training services. Minus Zero specializes in customized programs designed and delivered in the context of ongoing relationships with clients. One of Huynh’s first jobs involved working with organizations in Southeast Asia to train local leaders to combat human trafficking and unjust labor practices. His latest volunteer venture, Redeemed, is a nonprofit organization that provides entrepreneurial training to the formerly incarcerated.
The Breakfast Events offer men the opportunity to investigate the Christian life in a setting that has the feel of a business seminar. During this series, Huynh will share the story of a dramatic personal transformation. After landing in prison at age 19, he came to faith in Jesus Christ. That conversion changed the course of his life from one of criminal activity, restlessness, and desperation to one of contentment and fulfillment. It also sparked his passion for developing world-class leaders.
GOMSC is a Christian ministry designed to reach non-Christian men for Jesus Christ, sharing the Gospel in a meaningful and effective way so that lives can be changed. Its mission focuses on helping men integrate faith and work through discipleship training, mentoring, evangelistic outreach, seminars, and workshops, in partnership with local churches and affiliated organizations throughout Southern California.
There are three spring events scheduled: June 5 at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel Valley, June 6 at the Anaheim Phoenix Club in Orange County, and June 12 at the Carson Community Center in South Bay. For more information, visit www.gomsc.org.
