InTouch Credit Union Hosts School Supply Drive for Oakland Country Head Start Program
Credit Union’s Three Michigan Branches to Accept Donations for OLHSA Through July 31.
Troy, MI, June 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) is proud to announce a school supply drive for Michigan’s Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA)’s Head Start program to begin on June 1, 2013. ITCU welcomes members of the surrounding communities to drop off school supply donations to any of ITCU’s three Michigan branches located in Auburn Hills, Pontiac and Troy through July 31, 2013.
For almost fifty years, the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) has served as the largest nonprofit agency delivering services to families and individuals living in Oakland and Livingston counties; in particular aiding those with disabilities, seniors as well as those suffering from economic hardships. OLHSA’s Head Start program aids lower income or disabled preschool age children in getting a jump on their elementary education. This free program runs throughout the normal school year in 19 locations in Oakland County, providing both children and their families with social, physical, emotional and intellectual development.
Both ITCU members and non-members alike are welcomed to the credit union’s Michigan branches through the end of July to donate supplies for this wonderful program. Some suggested items for donation include backpacks, pencil bags, no. 2 pencils, pens, erasers, markers, crayons, colored pencils, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, three-ring binders, folders, glue sticks, Elmer’s® glue, safety (rounded edge) scissors and rulers.
The Auburn Hills ITCU branch is located at 3355 University Drive Auburn Hills, MI 48326 with lobby hours of Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM and Saturday 9AM to 1PM. The Troy ITCU branch is located within the Northfield Point Marketplace at 5381 Crooks Road Troy, MI 48098. The Troy lobby is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5PM and Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM. The Pontiac branch is located within a secure facility, only accessible by employees on the HP® Campus located at 585 South Boulevard, 1A H21 Pontiac, MI 48341. This limited access Pontiac location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
