Worcester Photographer’s Work Selected for Boston’s Fashion Week

Worcester, MA, August 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Scott Erb, founder of Erb Photography in Worcester, MA met model Tianna Ta, also from Worcester, at Pulse magazine’s “27 To Watch” party this year and their personalities clicked. A few months after that event, their long hours of collaborative work have paid off. One of the images created by their collaboration has been selected by the Tonn Modeling Agency in Boston to be featured in the Gallery at Sister Sorel Fashion Photography during Boston Fashion Week.

“It’s so nice to see a small group of creative people come together to break down the barrier between the Worcester and Boston folks and have us become part of the world of fashion in Boston,” said Scott Erb upon hearing the news that his work had been chosen for inclusion in the show. He went on to say that it is notable to be “in such good company” on an occasion such as this.

Until very recently, fashion photographers were considered second tier artists, who sold out of the art community to photograph superficial subjects- pretty people, expensive clothes and shiny jewelry.

The purpose of this exhibit is to display that fashion photography is not only an art, but a profession, which takes skills, talents and training to produce extraordinary, sensational masterpieces, which are forever immortalized in an art form.

The opening reception for the Gallery at Sister Sorrel at 647 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02118, takes place on Monday, September 10th from 6pm-8pm. Erb will be in attendance, as will the other photographers and models whose work was selected for the show.
