Sudoku Snaps - Jewels Released

Seattle, WA, June 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Popped Art Games has just released Sudoku Snaps – Jewels. A fun and challenging new iPhone game for anyone who loves puzzles.

The developers share how the game evolved. “We love Sudoku, but sometimes staring at numbers for too long can become tedious. We came up with replacing the numbers with images for this series of games. Given the current popularity of jewel based games, we figured that combining Sudoku with jewels would be a perfect match.”

Since mobile gaming is played on the go, the developers went for a faster method of play. “Since we were creating it specifically for the mobile platform, we used the mini-Sudoku 6x6 formula. This enables the game play to be much faster than a traditional round of Sudoku. That’s what inspired the name of the game, it can be done in a snap!”

The developers note, “We feel this is a modern and unique addition to the world of Sudoku. At the same time, mobile gamers that have never played Sudoku will enjoy it as a stand-alone jewel puzzle game.”

The Jewels edition is the first in a series of “Sudoku Snaps” games to be released in 2013 that will feature images instead of numbers.
