Ace My Course to Launch New Virtual Tutoring Experience
Known for its efforts with impoverished students, Texas tutoring company Ace My Course is announcing the launch of a new virtual platform for interactive tutoring classes.
Katy, TX, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ace My Course, a Texas-based tutoring company with over 40 tutors in Houston and Dallas, is announcing the launch of online tutoring classes.
Using virtual classroom software E-Lecta, the classes will involve certified teachers leading groups or classes of children of various ages.
“We’re thrilled to offer highly qualified tutoring on a new and exciting platform,” CEO Jenn Whitaker said. “Unlike the platforms used for online classes in college, students can actually see and interact with the teacher and fellow students, in group-tutoring settings.”
In addition to its in-home and new online services, Ace My Course is known throughout Texas for its community tutoring programs for impoverished children.
Ace My Course tested the online tutoring with five low-income families in the Houston area through its signature Silver Lining program, which received rave reviews among the participants.
One such group at The Village School in Houston managed to go from failing high school chemistry to passing with A's.
"We had a group of five students once a week," Whitaker said. "In only five weeks, they were acing chemistry and are now set up for graduation."
The initial round of interactive tutoring will offer services on the elementary, high school and college levels. The first high school subjects include chemistry, biology, physics and math.
“Our high school classes will be lead by either tutors with degrees in the course or field or Certified High School Teachers with Certification in the Subject and grade,” Whitaker said.
She added, “Our Elementary classes will be divided by grade level and cover reading, writing and math. They will be taught by Certified EC-6th grade teachers who are experienced in Texas Schools District Teaching.”
Ace My Course’s online tutoring will also feature a special need’s class as well as GED training classes.

Pricing & Availability
Each class is $25 an hour per student. Families can get a Gold Package with 3-5 children, which is available at $20 an hour per student. For groups of less than three, the group rate is $45 an hour or $80 an hour for six students or more.
College rate
Their gold Group is also available to college students on minimum wage work, who would like to have group studies for projects or courses with friends or classmates for $25 an hour per student.
