Rogers Memorial Hospital Receives Community Distinction Award
Waukesha County Business Alliance and Biz Times Media present Rogers with Community Distinction Award during the Top 10 Businesses Award Luncheon.
Oconomowoc, WI, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Waukesha County Business Alliance and Milwaukee Biz Times Media have recognized Rogers Memorial Hospital with a special Community Distinction Award during their annual Top 10 Businesses of the Year Awards Luncheon. This esteemed award recognizes Rogers more than 100 years of serving the local community with top quality behavioral healthcare.
In an interview with Milwaukee Biz Times Media, Paul Mueller, chief executive officer stated, “Our success is measured by the number of people we are able to serve. As one in four people struggle with a mental health issue, a lot of people can relate and there is a definite need in the community.”
Serving the local community is a top priority for the hospital as 60 percent of the 8,500 people served last year are from the greater Waukesha area. Rogers Memorial Hospital continues to demonstrate this commitment with the launch of new and expanded programming, new and updated facilities and through continued partnerships with schools, organizations and other healthcare facilities in order to raise awareness for mental health and addiction treatment.
More than 950 people are locally employed by the Rogers Health System.
Rogers Memorial Hospital is currently Wisconsin’s largest not-for-profit, private behavioral health hospital, providing adults, children and adolescents with treatment for eating disorders, chemical dependency, obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders, as well as a variety of child and adolescent mental health concerns.
