Big House Publishing (BHP) Artist Scores Accolades and a New Tour
Big House Publishing (BHP) artist, Maxfield Gast, scores a new tour following his Emmy's win for FX Series "Louie."
New York, NY, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Big House Publishing (BHP), a Manhattan based full-service music publisher, has a mission to keep its ear to the ground, and discover talent before it hits industry radar. According to COO, Xosé Mohamdioua, “Maxfield Gast is just one example of Big House Publishing’s (BHP) talent acquisition success, but a great example.” The company signed a cherry-picked list of titles from Maxfield’s catalog in 2011 -- Maxfield quickly went on to score the FX series “Louie” and achieve other notable heights.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Gast has been honing his career from the tender age of ten when he picked up a saxophone, after his older sister brought home a French horn. Though his mind was set on the saxophone, Gast didn’t follow its obvious path into jazz until one of his father’s creative partners passed on a tape of John Coltrane’s album Settin’ the Pace. Since then his career has gained unstoppable momentum. With his recent win at the 2012 Emmy’s for FX series “Louie;” endorsements from Selmer Paris Saxophones, Navarro Saxophone Mouthpieces and Colorado Case Company; and a new international tour in the works, Gast is solidifying his name within synchronization licensing and beyond.
Gast will be on tour: June 11th in Philadelphia, USA; June 15th in Stockholm, Sweden; June 29th in Vancouver, BC, Canada; July 17th in Brooklyn, NY, USA; July 26th in Camden, NJ, USA.
