Scienz Kickstarts Mini Beer Pong
A Revolutionary, Hassle-free Spin on an American Past-time that Transcends Generations.
Minneapolis, MN, June 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Scienz Group, LLC today announced the launch of a Kickstarter.com campaign to grow their debut game, Mini Beer Pong. With convenience in mind, Scienz has transformed the classic party game into a space-conscious, portable and action-packed table-top entertainment solution with patent-pending features that make it suitable for all kinds of environments.
On the University of Minnesota campus, which is known for its rich inventive history, this innovation received the Minnesota Daily’s award for Best Student Invention of 2013. As current Univ. of Minnesota student and Scienz CEO Derek Dahl puts it, “No longer is beer pong just a thing of dorm rooms and house parties. Chasing ping pong balls, cleaning up spilt drinks, and clearing out space to play all make beer pong a chore. But with tethered balls, a fully capable cup rack, and its compact size, Mini Beer Pong is ready to play anytime, anywhere – struggle free!”
Two handcrafted versions have been test marketed to encouraging audiences. Bars especially benefit from the unique features of Mini Beer Pong, as patrons can play seated at their own table, booth, or bar top using finger-flicking ball launchers. Red Carpet Nightclub owner (St. Cloud, MN) Rick Gaetz even inspired a fully integrated tabletop version as a special request for his game room. He adds, “I’m not a beer pong guy or even a drinker, but I definitely see the potential in Mini Beer Pong.”
The introduction of a third, plastic version that can be widely distributed at a low cost is the primary goal of the Kickstarter campaign. In support of this campaign, Scienz is taking Mini Beer Pong on the road this summer with stops at beer and music festivals throughout the Midwest. Discounted Mini Beer Pong kits and Scienz merchandise are available through Kickstarter. A direct link to the campaign is posted below:
