William Peace University Names Marquita D. Brazier as Telecounselor and Event Coordinator
Four-Year Baccalaureate University Announces Hiring of Admissions Professional
Raleigh, NC, June 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Marquita D. Brazier has been hired to serve as the institution’s telecounselor and event coordinator. In her position, Brazier will be responsible for supporting a myriad of campus efforts throughout the year in relation to student recruitment, retention and alumni development – specifically leading outbound calls to prospective students in an effort to collect information, answer questions and follow up on inquiries, applications or deposits. Brazier will also oversee the accuracy of data entry and developing standard operating procedures and training materials for the Telemarketing and Call Center. In addition, Brazier will manage university event planning, including scheduling, planning, coordinating and budgeting for all admissions open houses and prospective student and group visits and tours.
Prior to joining William Peace University, Brazier served as an undergraduate admissions counselor for Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C., and an admissions counselor for ITT Technical Institute in Cary, N.C. A member of the National Council of Negro Women – Capital Area Section, Brazier has worked within the realms of higher education for the last six years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in mass communication and broadcasting from UNC Pembroke.
