Two CAS, Inc. Employees Named Among Top 10 Community Managers Nationally
On-Site Community Manager Mystre’ Van Horn and Portfolio Manager Dan Quartermane Receive National Recognition for Exceptional Service.
Pinehurst, NC, June 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- John Stone, president of CAS, Inc. (http://www.casnc.com/), a community and homeowners association management services firm, has announced that Mystre’ Van Horn, community manager of Fairfield Harbour in New Bern, N.C., and Dan Quartermane, portfolio manager to the Triangle region, have been named among the top 10 on-site community managers and portfolio managers in the United States respectively by The Council of Community Association Professionals (CCAP). These awards recognize those in the management services industry that display excellence in their field. This honor follows Van Horn and Quartermane’s recent recognition as being named Managers of Distinction by the Community Associations Institute’s North Carolina Chapter (CAI-NC).
Van Horn joined CAS, Inc. in 2011, serving as the on-site manager for the residential boating and golfing community of Fairfield Harbour, located in New Bern. Responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the community, Van Horn oversees the communication between staff, owners, committee members, board members and local leaders. Prior to joining CAS, Inc., Van Horn previously worked for Century 21 as part of her extensive background in the real estate industry.
Based in Apex, N.C., Quartermane is the portfolio manager for several communities across the Triangle, which includes an estimated 3,000 homes. He is responsible for inspecting his communities for any issues or repairs that need to be addressed and ensuring that each community is following its local ordinances. Working with the communities’ boards of directors, Quartermane helps prevent any legal discrepancies the communities may encounter. Since joining CAS, Inc. in 2006, he has received his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations.
