B3 Solutions’ CEO Bud Almas Chosen by the National Veteran Small Business Coalition for the First Annual Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Small Business Award
Alexandria, VA, June 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- B3 Solutions, LLC, a provider of customer-focused solutions that enable government organizations to optimize their performance, announced today the company’s founder and CEO, Bud Almas, has been selected to receive the first annual Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Small Business Award by the National Veteran Small Business Coalition. The award recognizes a veteran small business owner who provides employment opportunities to veterans and who, like Gordon Mansfield, gives back to veterans and their families.
B3 Solutions was founded in 2003 to help government agencies optimize their acquisition and program management operations. Today, B3 Solutions has expanded its portfolio to include a range of professional services and integrated technology solutions built upon the company’s commitment to repeatable excellence and helping customers achieve their mission requirements.
As a retired Army Officer and veteran of the Persian Gulf War, Bud Almas is devoted to making a positive difference in the lives of those who have served the nation. In 2011, with revenues of $22 Million, B3 Solutions had 19 veteran employees. In 2012, with revenues of $32 Million, B3 Solutions increased the number of veteran employees to 59. Today, 35% of all B3 Solutions employees are veterans.

In January 2013, Mr. Almas decided he wanted to do more in addition to the company’s financial donations to various veteran organizations, hence he officially established the B3 Solutions’ Veterans Outreach Program. The goal of the program is to be the conduit between other corporations and institutions and non-profit organizations to help veterans and their families financially and through other support efforts.
B3 Solutions contributes to several veteran organizations, among them; Hope for the Warriors, Operations Jump Start, the Wounded Warrior Project, Homes for our Troops, Puppies Behind Bars, the Pathway House, American Legion Department of Florida, and the Fisher House.
