New Annual Acoustic Award Scheme

Royston, United Kingdom, June 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) has launched a new annual awards scheme, offering entrants the chance to win a state-of-the-art sound level meter, donated by Brüel & Kjær.

During the conference, taking place on Tuesday 8th October in Birmingham’s Crowne Plaza hotel, this particular prize will be awarded to the winner of the Brüel & Kjær Award for Best Application of Environmental Noise Measurement Data category.

ANC’s new awards scheme aims to promote and recognise excellence among acoustic consultants in the United Kingdom. During this inaugural presentation, entries from ANC members will be assessed by a panel of judges including their peers and industry sponsors to determine those that have made an outstanding contribution in their field.

As well as the category sponsored by Brüel & Kjær, there are several more award sections including Architectural Acoustics, Building Services Acoustics and Sound Insulation Design.
