PlusAbroad Publishes Video Series About Cultural Tourism in Europe
PlusAbroad, the cultural and educational tourism provider based in Spain has now published the first installment in a series of video-guides in the form of animated slide shows which showcase program destinations in Europe aimed at active adults and baby boomers.
Madrid, Spain, August 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- PlusAbroad, the cultural tourism program provider has now published the first instalment in a series of video-guides about unique and special cultural destinations in Europe. Currently focusing on Spain, Holland, Italy and Brussels, these tourist guides provide flashes into PlusAbroad's entertaining cultural and educational travel destinations. Places that will be covered include Madrid; Nerja on Spain’s Costa del Sol; Brussels; the Baroque villages of Ragusa, Sicily and Leiden, Holland. The video guide, in the form of an animated photo gallery can be accessed at PlusAbroad.com or on YouTube (by searching for PlusAbroad).
This first animated gallery is accompanied by the music of the flamenco guitarist, Paco de Lucia. The following guide now in production, will feature off the beaten tourist track spots in each country photographed by PlusAbroad participants. When asked about the idea of the video series Mila Moreno, PlusAbroad Programs’ Director, clarified that the form of an animated slide show “was motivated by the wish to entertain and inform, like the programs themselves. Most of our work is aimed at edutainment. We thought the viewers would have fun watching these short (1.10 min.) wiki productions showcasing photos taken by participants behind the scenes and also during activities at program locations.”
PlusAbroad provides inclusive as well as customized educational travel programs in Europe which combine education and entertainment for active adults. Their cultural and adventure trips for active, small-group experiences in Europe go to prove that edutainment makes it easy for baby boomers to embrace new experiences and that learning can be fun at any age. PlusAbroad’s educational travel programs focus on subjects such as art, culture, cuisine, cinema, wine-tasting, language learning, yoga, music or low-impact sports such as cycling or walking/hiking in Spain, Italy, Holland and Belgium.
