C.E.D Entertainment Distribution, an independent distributor of Music, Video, Movies and DVD, announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Global Records with the release of Reggae Superstar ‘Bunny Rugs’ a Jamaican icon and, the most recognized voice in Reggae music has spent years in the studio recording with some of the biggest names in Reggae and mainstream music. ‘Bunny Rugs’ (10-time Grammy nominee with his band Third World) has created an incredible solo musical journey called ‘What-a-World’. The ‘What-a-World’ CD has 16 tracks (includes 1 bonus track) and has 4 planned singles releasing off of it. The CD appeals to every music lover in all genres and age-groups whether they are into Reggae or not. The CD was produced to express ‘Bunny Rugs’ rich Reggae and R&B sound, as well as his amazing writing abilities.
Bunny Rugs has been nominated for his 10- time Grammy Nominee for best reggae album of the year for 2005 “Black Gold & Green”. The lead singer of Third World will have Sean Paul featuring on his new single (Now That We Found Love).
Global Records' first release for distribution through C.E.D. is The Sisaundra Lewis album "SHOUT" that is scheduled for release on February 07, 2006. The second release will be the Bunny Rugs album featuring Sean Paul "Now That We Found Love" that is schedule for release on February 28, 2006.
Sisaundra Lewis' USA Billboards #1 Dance hit "Shout" by Norty Cotto and Internet hit "Let The Music Play" (8 wks at #1, charted 32 weeks Germany, Sweden & Hollandbegan). She has worked with Celine Dion Peabo Bryson, Michael Bolton, George Duke, Sheila E., Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Janet Jackson, Patti LaBelle, Kenny Lattimore, Nana Mouskouri and Najee.
In another exciting signing, C.E.D. Entertainment has signed a Distribution deal with CPN KIDZ Entertainment, which is featuring the new Kidz sensation "The Marty & Artie Radio Show." It features new songs written and preformed by Dan Daglia (Veteran Musician and Performer).
Dan is also the President and CEO of CPN KIDZ and is working on the filming of the DVD version of "The Marty & Artie Radio Show." The CD version will be digitally released in January 2006.
Dan Daglia is extremely excited about the deal with C.E.D. and states, "The show is a combination of Entertainment and Education, and with Sony/Red digital Distribution and Bayside general distribution channel through C.E.D., we are looking to generate substantial revenues."
Dan is speaking with many educators about the project in hopes to have the schools participate in the rebate program that will allow the schools to keep a portion of the sale of the product when it is released in CD form.
Another outstanding label is Street Work Entertainment based out of York, Pennsylvania.
