Hamletronics Limited Announces Availability of a New Product - Infrared Transceiver
London, United Kingdom, July 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Hamletronics is pleased to announce a new product family – multichannel infrared transceivers in a form factor of Raspberry Pi® extension board.
These infrared transceivers may control consumer electronics appliances by sending IR control signals as well as receiving IR signals from consumer remote controls and channeling the signals through the SPI interface to the main board.
At the moment, this family includes two devices HIT2 and HIT4. These devices differ mainly by the receiver channel count: HIT2 has two receiver channels while HIT4 – four of them.
HIT devices support broad range of the carrier frequencies, both for receivers and transmitters, and up to 500 mA current for driving externally attached IR emitters (LEDs).
