Cranberry Coast Concerts Season 8 - Camp CCC

Onset, MA, June 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cranberry Coast Concerts presents Camp CCC under the direction of Michelle Bowlin, owner of Music of the Bay. This year the camp is offering 2 sessions. Session 1: July 8 to 12 and July 15 to 19 and Session 2 - Jul. 29 – Aug. 2 & Aug. 5 – 9.

Children will discover the building blocks of music with peers at their own level. They will play music together and listen to each other, learning musical skills and teamwork. While also learning notes, chords, rhythms and the circle of fifths.

The camp is accepting children aged 6 to 14. They will be experiencing music in a friendly camp environment. Kids will learn music one on one and in small groups with professional musical educators.

Activities will also include listening exercises, singing in tune, ensemble playing and musical games. Student band instrumentalists, vocalists and pianists from grades 2 through 8, beginning to advanced, are invited to attend.

With the latest cut backs in the schools many band students and singers did not get to play an instrument or sing in a choir during the school year. Camp CCC will provide an opportunity to play and sing as soloists and in ensembles.
