Party with the Rat Pack in Off-Broadway Show "Sinatra and Friends"
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., and Marilyn Monroe continue their stay at the HA! Comedy Club in Times Square after rave reviews.
New York, NY, August 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- HA! Comedy Club is pleased to announce an extended run of their musical tribute show “Sinatra and Friends” (Previous show name: “Vegas on Broadway: Rat Pack”, 5 performance mini-series August 2007.) “Sinatra and Friends” has expanded its schedule at the HA! Comedy Club in Times Square located at 163 West 46th Street (off of 7th Avenue) to offer six weekly shows as of Thursday, September 6, 2007 with an open ended run.
In the early 60’s, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin made history when they teamed up in Las Vegas. Their carefree antics on stage became legendary and earned them the nickname “The Rat Pack.” To this day, audiences can’t get enough of these performers. “Sinatra and FriendsS” brings it all to life. The show runs for 90 minutes with no intermission and features classic Rat Pack favorites like; “That’s Amore,” “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “New York, New York,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “My Way” and much more. The outstanding performers will transport you back to a time of smoky Vegas Lounges as you sing along to these timeless classics. When they take the stage, they not only capture the sound of Frank, Sammy and Dean, and Marilyn but their charisma, charm, and chemistry as well. When this happens, it’s magic. Be a part of it.
“Sinatra and Friends” stars Jesse Posa as Frank (“East of Evil” -Off-Broadway, and Radio City Music Hall); Lloyd Diamond as Sammy (TV Credits include “Showtime at the Apollo”, and “Chappelle’s Show” as well as the Las Vegas Show “A Tribute to the Rat Pack”); Joe Perce as Dean (Sundanace Award winning short,"Kings Day Out.",” Law & Order”, and additional appearances on Nickelodeon, MTV, and Comedy Central)
Weekly Performance Times beginning on September 6, 2007 will include; Thursday’s at 7:00pm, Friday’s at 7:00pm, Saturdays at 7:00pm, Sunday’s at 7:00pm and 9:00pm and Monday’s at 7:00pm.
