Mims Distributing Company Sponsors Second Annual Peak City Pig Fest in Downtown Apex
Raleigh Beer Distributor Supports Free Event Attended by More Than 20,000.
Raleigh, NC, June 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, sponsored the second annual Peak City Pig Fest, which was held North Salem Street in Apex, N.C. The Apex Sunrise Rotary Club hosts the free event, which featured a barbecue competition, games, and other food and drinks.
This is the first time that beer was served at the event. The Peak City Pig Fest had a beer garden where attendees 21 years or older were allowed to enter. The beer garden had live music and featured such beers as Miller Lite, Yuengling, Sam Adams Summer, Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, Carolina Pale Ale and Foothills IPA.
