Willie Macc of BET College Hill Virgin Islands entertains the crowd as the main stage host for the 2007 LA Stars Celebrity Charity All-Star Weekend Carnival. Best know for his comedic personality during his appearance on one of BET’s highest rated reality series, College Hill Virgin Islands, Willie Macc is currently entertaining audiences by hosting events and doing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles and New Orleans comedy clubs.
Los Angeles, CA, August 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Funny man Willie Macc amused and entertained the crowd as the Host of the main stage for the 2007 LA Stars Celebrity Charity All-Star Weekend C.arnival. The carnival, held on the campus of the University of Southern California on Sunday, August 5th, 2007, was part of a weekend of events that included a celebrity basketball game, an NBA player’s game, a casino night and a date of community service.
Best know for his comedic personality during his appearance on one of BET’s highest rated reality series, College Hill Virgin Islands, Willie Macc is currently entertaining audiences doing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles and New Orleans comedy clubs. He just recently completing his first appearance in a major studio movie which stars Kevin Sorbo, Carmen Electra and Method Man. Willie Macc has also entertained live audiences and tv viewers alike by appearing on BET’s 106th & Park, BET’s live game show Take the Cake, Nickelodeon’s All That and CSI.
For twenty years, NBA legend Earvin ’Magic’ Johnson held A Midsummer Night’s Magic for the city of Los Angeles to raise funds for worthwhile charitable programs. In 2006, current NBA All-Stars Baron Davis and Paul Pierce were passed the torch and had the privilege of executing their first LA Stars Celebrity Charity All-Star Weekend to continue his legacy. The goal of LA STARS is to rebuild, preserve and provide programs and resources to at-risk youth in Los Angeles and the surrounding communities.
In addition to appearances by celebrities such as Baron Davis, Paul Pierce, Nick Cannon and Lil Fiz, the carnival included performances by a number of artists including Raz B.
