A.M. Best Ratings Released for Accident Insurance Company and Its Affiliate, Madison Insurance Company
Columbia, SC, June 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Accident Insurance Company (AIC) was founded in 2003, and since then has developed into one of the nation’s leading commercial lines carrier through conservative underwriting and a sound operating structure. As AIC consistently grows, improvements to the operation continue to be made to provide the best service to agents and insureds.
In order to offer a wider menu of products and services to customers, Accident Insurance Company (AIC) together with its wholly owned affiliate, Madison Insurance Company (MIC), have determined it is in the best interest of all to create one rated carrier, Accident Insurance Company and one non-rated carrier, MIC. In response to this decision, MIC met with A.M. Best Company and voluntarily withdrew their rating effective June 25, 2013. All business in force will remain effective, and upon the renewal date a decision will be made by underwriting as to which company to offer for the policy.
