Co-Founders Koziol and Stewart Launch HoneyBee Child
HoneyBee Child is a platform for delivering children’s products to the market representing a smart, savvy mom lifestyle.
Menlo Park, CA, July 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Co-founders Jill Koziol and Katie Stewart today announced the launch of HoneyBee Child. HoneyBee Child will provide infant and toddler children’s products that make the smart, savvy mom think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” HoneyBee Child will also help aspiring momprenuers translate their ideas into action and business through advice, assistance, investment, and acquisition.
“We created HoneyBee Child to meet the needs of stylish moms looking for products that are both chic and functional. Our brand promise ‘Made for your child. Designed for you.’ conveys our desire to appeal to our market as not just moms, but also sophisticated women,” said Jill Koziol, co-founder.
“As new moms ourselves we were often unsatisfied by the lack of balance between design and utility in the children’s products on the market. With our business and consulting backgrounds we had the ability to do something about it; we hope to use HoneyBee Child to help other momprenuers realize their potential, as well,” added Katie Stewart, co-founder.
SwingEase, the first product from HoneyBee Child, will be available Fall 2013. Invented after the co-founders were frustrated with the limited access to toddler swings at local playgrounds, the SwingEase was created initially as a swing seat adapter converting standard chain swings to toddler swings. The SwingEase quickly became an alternative to existing toddler swings because of its increased comfort and fit over traditional toddler bucket swings.
The patent-pending SwingEase has a comfortable cloth seat that supports the child across the chest, back, and under arms. Two drawstring cords and adjustable toggles provide perfect fit for children of various sizes. Safety clips are used to attach the unit to a standard chain swing. The device is easy to carry in its own built-in bag and is small enough to carry along in a diaper bag or purse. If the SwingEase gets dirty, just remove the safety clips and pop it in the wash.
