Mike Luoma’s Vatican Assassin Now Available at Podiobooks.com as an Audio Book Podcast
The iPod revolution spreads to audio books. Burlington, Vermont author and radio announcer Mike Luoma reads the audio book of his science fiction novel on national website.

Luoma, a 20 year veteran of the Burlington, Vermont radio market who’s now on the air afternoons at The Point (WNCS 104.7, 93.3, 100.3 FM, WRJT 103.1, 107.7 FM, WDOT 95.7 FM), narrates the chapters of the book himself, subtly changing inflection and altering his voice to highlight and differentiate each character in the science fiction novel.

Luoma published Vatican Assassin at the end of 2005. He released the book’s sequel, Vatican Ambassador earlier this year (2007). The books take place about a hundred years in the future. A war between the west and Islam has been raging hot and cold for years. We meet the title character, the Vatican Assassin Bernard Campion, as he works his latest assignment from his superior, the Pope: Assassinating Meredith McEntyre, the Governor of Lunar Prime, the free, non-aligned city-state on the Moon.
