Thompson & Knight Attorney Receives William Roper Award
Dallas, TX, July 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Frank Finn has been named the recipient of the 2013 William Roper Award from the St. Thomas More Society, the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Lawyers’ Guild. The award will be presented at a reception following the Red Mass on August 25, 2013.
Mr. Finn is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Trial Practice Group. He has more than 50 years of experience in the practice of law involving hundreds of trials and alternative dispute resolution matters and appeals. He has represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, focusing on business disputes, product liability, personal injury, intellectual property, white collar criminal defense, and family law. Mr. Finn has been named one of The Best Lawyers in America® since 1993 and is a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation. In 2011, he received the Honorary Serjeants of the Inn Award from the Judge Paul Brown Inn of Court. The William Roper Award is given to a local attorney or judge whose public and private life reflects and perpetuates the legacy of Thomas More. The St. Thomas More Society, named for the 16th century lawyer, judge, and diplomat who served as Lord Chancellor of England under King Henry VIII and was later executed, is a charitable organization whose purpose is to encourage Catholic lawyers to live a Christian vocation by sanctifying their daily work.
