Adoba Dearborn Hotel Unveils a Striking Green Hue on the Michigan Skyline

Denver, CO, July 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Adoba Dearborn/Detroit location across the street from the Ford World Headquarters, is taking every sustainable element into consideration, Lauretano Sign Group has created a landmark exterior sign package with several green features. For instance, the sign is illuminated by GE LED systems that contain no mercury, lead, or glass. Energy savings will amount to 90% compared with neon and fluorescent lighting. In addition, LED lights last up to 50,000 hours, or 17 years when lit for eight hours each day.

Fabrication of the sign was done with aluminum sheets that contain 85% recycled content. One component is Cyro acrylic sheets, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Matthews MAP-LV coatings contain VOC levels that are at or below the requirements of the USGBC’s Green Seal.
