Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Presents Its Courses for Italian Language Teachers

The Academy of Italian Language “AIL”, with headquarters in Florence, is an association of schools, institutions and experts who work in the field of teaching the Italian language to foreign students and the certification field.

The “AIL” created examinations for different levels of knowledge, following the Common European of Reference for Languages. To obtain the Diploma of the Academy of Italian Language, it is necessary for all levels to pass an examination composed by five parts with listening tests, reading comprehension, analysis of the communication structures, writing and speaking skills.

These examinations take place four times a year, on the same day in all the schools and academies of the world which offer this Diploma; tests are unique and the correction with evaluation is made in the headquarters of Florence, to guarantee the uniformity of the judgment.

It is also possible to take examinations about the Italian Language for Business, thought for students and workers who need a valid recognition of their ability on the use of Italian language in professional fields.

Furthermore, since 2007, at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci it’s also possible to follow the Preparation course and take the examination for Italian Language teachers’ certification offered by the University for foreigners of Siena. Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is monitored by the University for Foreigners of Siena and students can take the examination in our school centers of Florence, Milan and Rome.
