Maydelis Torres Named Assistant Vice President at New Day Underwriting Managers

She will be responsible for utilizing her vast industry experience to enhance the environmental casualty product offerings to New Day’s clients.

Torres joins New Day with more than 26 years of experience in the property and environmental casualty industry. Prior to this position, she served as a Technology and Life Sciences Underwriter and Middle Market Manager for the Pennsylvania territory at The Hartford Insurance Companies. In the past, she also worked with several insurance carriers and agencies.
A resident of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Torres holds a B.S. in Management from St. Joseph’s University. She is also an active outdoorsman, who was selected to serve as a National Referee for the Rowing Events for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
