Sons of Anarchy Actor, Jorge Luis Pallo, Hosts Delray Actors Workshop
Delray Beach, FL, July 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Sons of Anarchy actor Jorge Luis Pallo is in South Florida and will host a TV & Film Audition Tech workshop August 11th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Global Business Development Center in Delray Beach. All aspiring actors are encouraged to enroll for the price of $80.
“I decided to host this workshop because I think it’s important for young actors to learn what it means to be a part of this industry. If they are prepared, they will succeed. Also, I think it’s very encouraging for these aspiring actors to meet those who are in the industries they also want to be in,” Pallo said.
Pallo is here as a panelist at the star studded Art & Entertainment Summit August 10th at the South County Civic Center, hosted by the Global Business Development Center and Ashley Place Community Development Cop, a Nonprofit 501(c) (3). These professionals will present their insider know-how, and share what it really means to be a successful artist to young adults, semi and professional artists in South Florida.
His one day, on-camera class provides actors with a clear and effective approach towards auditioning and preparing for TV & Film work. Students will have the opportunity to work two or more times per session. The workshop will place emphasis on cold reading & audition technique, voice and speech exercises, relaxation and imagination exercises, current scripts that reflect what actors will see in the real world, take home exercises that students can work on from week to week, and improvisational exercises essential for helping actors think on their feet.
“We are so excited to be hosting both Jorge’s workshop and also been lucky enough to have brought him in as a panelist for the Art and Entertainment Summit. Both are a great opportunities to help our community grow and develop future artists. We wanted them to see these industries up close and hope that as a result avoid many of the typical mistakes and pittfalls,” President and CEO of Global Business Development Center Annette Gray said.
