Seattle, WA, August 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Axis Medical Staffing, a leading provider of supplemental medical staffing for facilities nationwide, today announced that the company has been recognized by the Joint Commission as achieving the Health Care Staffing Services certification.

The Joint Commission launched the accreditation specific to Healthcare Staffing organizations in October 2004. It provides an independent evaluation of a Health Care Staffing Services ability to place qualified and competent individuals. An on-site surveyor conducted an audit of the operations in late June by evaluating two primary areas, compliance with set standards and performance measurement.
