Oceanside Care Center Announces the Hiring of Renowned Dr. Michael Smar as Its New Medical Director
Oceanside, NY, July 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Michael Smar is well-known throughout the New York-area as a practicing physician and partner for over thirty years in Nassau County.
Oceanside Care Center is very proud to announce that Dr. Michael Smar officially joined the Oceanside Care Center team on January 1, 2013. Dr. Smar attended medical school at McGill University. After completing his internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital, he was appointed chief resident and completed his cardiology fellowship. Dr. Smar is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology.
Dr. Smar has been a practicing physician and partner for over thirty years at South Nassau Internal Medicine Associates LLP in Freeport, NY. He is also an attending physician at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, NY.
