Tunica, MS Hosts 36th Annual National Bikers Roundup with Bobby Rush and Avant Featuring Keekee Wyatt
The largest minority owned camping rally in the country, the National Bikers Roundup, is gearing up for the 36th Annual event to be held in Tunica, Mississippi at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center July 31 - August 4, 2013. The event, hosted by Mississippi area motorcycle club will feature fun, games, camaraderie and featured entertainment for the entire family.
Kansas City, MO, July 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The National Bikers Roundup, considered the largest minority owned camping rally in the country, is gearing up for the 36th Annual National Bikers Roundup in Tunica, Mississippi.
Each year thousands of motorcycle clubs and organizations from across the country attend the National Bikers Roundup. The prominent four (4) day family-friendly event unites the motorcycle community, promotes camaraderie and celebrates motorcycle-related accomplishments. Motorcyclists, enthusiasts, family and friends come together to enjoy camping, exhibits, games, entertainment and a host of other motorcycle related experiences.
The National Bikers Roundup has been hosted in states throughout the country for the past 35 years. Each year, motorcycle clubs campaign for the honor of hosting the prestigious event. 2013 represents the 36th year of the National Bikers Roundup. This year’s event is hosted by the Mississippi Roundup committee also known as the Greenwood Mississippi Roundup Committee and is made up of Mississippi area motorcycle clubs.
Along with the fun and festivities, the National Bikers Roundup’s charitable giving program holds a food drive, where Roundup attendees donate cash and food that is then distributed to local area food banks in the cities where the event is held.
The 36th Annual National Bikers Roundup will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 through Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center, Tunica, MS. The Mississippi Roundup Committee has selected the Odessa Grant Food Pantry as the recipient of 2013 food drive donation and has put together an impressive schedule of events, activities and entertainment.
Highlights of activities include, Harley-Davidson demo rides featuring 30 new motorcycles, A 36 years of NBR historical tribute, dance, sack & 3-leg race competitions, bike shows, state highway patrol motorcycle demo, a for women only workshop series, motorcycle trophy contests and more. Schedule entertainment includes “Juke Joint” sounds by DJ Harleywood, the MC flair of Sean Hill and Chitchy, performances by Sweet Angel and James Redd.
The featured performances for the Friday Night Show include Narvel Echols, Karen Wolfe, LJ Echols and Willie Clayton. The Saturday Night Show lineup, billed “Big Bad Saturday Night Show: Blue & Southern Soul Meets R&B” includes the 2013 Isis Award presentation of “the most food or cash donated” as well as featured performances by none other than Bobby Rush, KeeKee Wyatt and Avant.
