Wellbridge of Brighton Now Accepting Residents

Howell, MI, July 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Toledo-based general contractor, The Douglas Company, has completed construction on the Wellbridge of Brighton, a facility specializing in skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation located in Genoa Township, Mich.

Wellbridge of Brighton, owned by The Wellbridge Group, is a 55,000 square foot nursing home that will serve as a transitioning point for patients between the hospital and home. The $8.8 million facility houses 72 units that can accommodate up to 88 residents, and includes amenities such as a Wellness Center for physical therapy and occupational therapy, a spa that offers hydrotherapy, massages, manicures and pedicures, and a bistro serving Starbucks coffee and snacks. The Wellbridge of Brighton is completely Wi-Fi enabled, with tablet devices available for use by guests who do not have their own.

The Douglas Company began construction on the facility in late May 2012, and the nursing home was completed just over 10 months later. The architectural design for this project was provided by JW Design Architectural Studio.
