Excellence in Acoustics Awards Scheme
Association of Noise Consultants reward best acoustic practitioners.
Royston, United Kingdom, July 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Acoustic trade association, Association of Noise Consultants (ANC), has launched a set of awards to promote and recognise excellence among UK acoustic consultants and raise the profile of the acoustics industry.
The awards, due to be presented on Tuesday 8th October in Birmingham’s Crowne Plaza hotel, divides into four sections: Environmental Acoustics, sponsored by Bruel & Kjaer; Architectural Acoustics, sponsored by Ecophon; Building Services Acoustics, sponsored by IAC; and Sound Insulation Design, sponsored by Robust Details. The ANC expects to add more Awards in subsequent years.
The Awards are looking for examples of work that display innovation - and originality - in acoustic design or approach to a particular project. There are no restrictions on size or type of project, but work must have been undertaken in the last two years (but need not be complete) and the consultancy must be in operating in the UK, although the project may be elsewhere.
Full details and the entry form are available on the ANC website.
The closing date for entries is 31st July 2013.
The Awards will be presented at a Dinner following the ANC conference on 8th October.
