Gerald J Releases Summer Single

NYC cabaret singer, Gerald J, has put his crooning days on hold, for the release of his first dance track, “Guadalupe.”

New York, NY, July 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NYC cabaret singer, Gerald J, has put his crooning days on hold, for the release of his first dance track, “Guadalupe.”

Gerald’s premiere performance of the new song will be at Splash Bar, 50 W. 17th Street as part of The Big Apple Softball League’s "Follies 2013 Diva Nation" (from 5-9pm).

Gerald J. is a native New Yorker who has been interested in the entertainment scene ever since he was an extra on The Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 13. This “forgotten mouseketeer” then went on to be the lead singer and trumpeter in “Platinum,” a top 40s cover band. After Platinum went their separate ways, Gerald featured on American Idol Season II, Entertainment Tonight with Paula Abdul and Showtime at the Apollo on Tour. In addition to spending several years performing live at private events and in New York lounges, Gerald owned his own DJ entertainment company and Singing Telegram service. Gerald has directed and executed over 25 live cabarets, concerts and comedy shows at Wings Theatre, Don’t Tell Mama, Broadway Comedy Club, Bar-tini Ultra Lounge, the famous Stonewall Inn and more. Gerald has recently worked with pianists Joe Kral, Ben Ginsberg and singer Jennifer Fouche and is excited to release his 2013 summer single "Gudalupe."
