Franklin County Fair Hosts Special Ceremony as Part of Armed Forces Day; Media Are Invited to Attend for Photos and Interviews
Columbus, OH, July 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Who: The Franklin County Fair
What: Armed Forces Day ceremony featuring Colonel Tom Moe (U.S. Air Force retired), former Vietnam POW, now director of the Ohio Dept. of Veterans Services. Also on hand will be Anita Miller, artist of the “Eyes of Freedom” Lima Company Memorial, and Mike Strahle, a retired member of Lima Company, along with military displays, presentations, and many military and veteran resources, as well as a concert by the 122nd Army Band and a patriotic sing-along.
When: Thurs., July 18, 2013
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: 4100 Columbia St., Hilliard, Ohio
Free parking is available.

The Franklin County Fair daily admission is per person: Sat. July 13 – Thurs. July 18 – $5.00; Fri. July 19 & Sat. July 20 - $6.00. Admission includes all attractions and entertainment, unless otherwise noted. Ride tickets or wristbands may be purchased separately. Parking is free.
