A Beauty Queen to Grace the Triangle - Miss Raleigh-Durham USA
Durham, NC, July 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Executive Director, Marina Montes, will host the first annual Miss Raleigh-Durham USA pageant, taking place at the PSI Theater of the Durham Arts Council on July 27, 2013 at 4pm. The Miss Raleigh-Durham USA is an official preliminary to the Miss North Carolina USA®.
The winner will go on to represent the Raleigh-Durham Area at the Miss North Carolina USA in High Point this coming November. The Miss Universe® Organization is owned by Donald Trump and produces both the Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® pageants, which air on NBC.
“The Miss Raleigh-Durham USA pageant is meant to empower young women to put their best foot forward in everything they chose to accomplish,” said Montes, and “I am thrilled we will be able to provide this opportunity to girls in the Triangle.”
The show will feature area contestants and a Princess Program, which is a free program for girls under the age of 14. The Princess Program will give younger girls the opportunity to walk on stage with the contestants and participate during the live show. The Princess Program is currently accepting participants.
Tickets are on sale now at http://missraleighdurhamusa.eventbrite.com and will be available for purchase at the door. The PSI Theater of the Durham Arts Council is located at 120 Morris Street Durham, North Carolina. Doors open at 3:30pm and show begins at 4pm.
