Larsen Digital Helps Preserve the Memory of Ogden Utah

Ogden, UT, July 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Larsen Digital, Preserving Your Memories, is helping to preserve the memory of Ogden. They have teamed up with Facebook Project "Remembering Ogden/Riverdale and Beyond" and are accepting any photo, negative, slide, video tape or movie reel that captures historic Ogden. Larsen Digital has offered to convert this media free of charge, and all photos and videos can be viewed on the Remembering Ogden/Riverdale and Beyond Facebook Page or at http://www.slidescanning.com/utah/remember-ogden.html.

Christa Hubbard from Larsen Digital stated "Every piece of film from our past is a part of who we are. It shows were we have been, the people we have loved, and the things we did. Those who have been raised in Ogden truly cherish the city and what it has offered throughout the years, which is why we are invested in the project of converting film containing Ogden's history. When we embrace our past and do everything we can to preserve it, it helps us make a better future for us and for generations to come in keeping those memories alive."

Linda Love, the creator of "Remembering Ogden/Riverdale and Beyond" encourages readers to post their fond memories of growing up in Ogden, photos and other fun examples of life from generations ago. Photos range from classic 1960's snapshots, to the Union Station, Weber State Games, to the Dairy Bar once located on 9th & Washington Blvd. This project allows people to come together and bond over their past memories.

In support of this project, Larsen Digital is offering to convert to digital any photo, slide, negative, video tape or movie film that contains something of classic Ogden. Examples include, but are not limited to city streets, schools, parades, rodeos, businesses, and school sports teams.
