The Comedy Allstars Explosion Coming to Beaumont Texas Featuring Faizon Love (Big Worm) & Dominique from the Tom Joiner Morning Show and Several Other Top Noted Comedians
Civic Center Beaumont Texas Friday August 30, 2013 The Comedy Allstars present six hot & well known comedians in Hollywood. Talent: Faizon Love (Big Worm) & Couples Retreat, Alex Thomas (Mr. Box Office & The Jamie Foxx Show), Tony Roberts (Mr. Box Office), Joe Clair (BET Rap City and Host of the BET Hip Hop Awards), Dominique (the Tom Joiner Morning Show and The Dave Chapelle Show) and Tyler Craig (BET’s Comic View). Music provided by Radio station Magic 102.5 DJ personality Jazzie Redd.
Beaumont, TX, July 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Comedy Allstars and G & B Entertainment announced The Comedy Allstars at The Beaumont Civic Center. The evening will feature Faizon Love hosting some of America’s brightest comedic talents spanning the country for a night of hilarious laughter. The Evening will be filled with performances from “Dominique” the witty comedian featured daily on the Tom Joiner Morning Show. This will be the first time many of these comedians have appeared in the Beaumont area.
The Show will start at 8pm with the doors opening at 7pm reserved seating only.

Faizon Love is best known for roles in the films Friday, Elf, The Replacements, Made, and Couples Retreat. His motion-picture debut, Bebe's Kids, had him providing the voice of comedian Robin Harris. He then had a role in The Meteor Man, starring Robert Townsend. Townsend then cast Love in a co-starring role on the hit sitcom The Parent 'Hood. Follow-up films have included 3 Strikes, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Money Talks, Wonderland, The Fighting Temptations, and Idlewild.
Alex Thomas was on the hit comedy show, In Living Color. Shortly after In Living Color Will Smith hired Alex as a writer on his hit sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where he wrote for the show for three seasons. As a stand-up comedian, Alex has starred in two 1- hour comedy specials “Straight Clownin’” (Showtime) and “Alex Thomas Live” (BET). Alex played a sidekick role to Jamie Foxx on the hit sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show for three seasons. He has also guest starred on other hit sitcoms, such as: Martin (Fox), Girlfriends (UPN), The Wayans Brothers (WB), Moesha (UPN), The Parkers (UPN), and All of US (UPN). Alex has also done several re-occurring character roles on hit animated series such as: Batman Beyond, King of the Hill, and Family Guy. His movie credits include The Players Club, Two Can Play That Game, Just Married, BAPS, and The Wash to name a few.
Tony Roberts television debut was on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” followed by, “It's Showtime At The Apollo” and “BET’S ComicView.” Early on, Tony received BET’s, Robin Harris Award, for Most Original Comic. Tony was asked to return to the stage again for HBO, this time due to popular demand from his initial performance on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.” He would later appear in the Season premiere of Russell Simmons presents, Comedy at the El Rey for Comedy Central.
Joe Clair aside from his work as host of Rap City, Clair has also hosted several radio shows and appeared on the stand-up comedy shows Def Comedy Jam and ComicView. He has had multiple appearances on "Def Comedy Jam" (HBO), "Comic Groove" (Comedy Central), "Showtime at the Apollo" (NBC), Martin Lawrence presents: 1st Amendment Stand-Up (STARZ) and "Comic View" (BET). His television appearances span almost fifteen years. If that wasn’t enough Joe Clair has gone on to host two other programs on BET. From 2000 through 2004 he hosted “Madd Sports” where he interviewed sports greats ranging from Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley to Shaq and Kobe. In 2007 he was called on once again by the BET brass to host “Take The Cake,” a nightly game show seen by millions he co-hosted plus size vixen Toccara Jones. He has served as moderator for BET’s ‘Rap-It-Up’ AIDS awareness and prevention campaign for going on seven years. He is a staple at the BET awards.
Dominique met SNL's Tracy Morgan who made Dominique his opening act for his run at Caroline's on Broadway. The two formed a friendship and have been working together ever since. She was also a hit "Chapelle's Show" and she's the newest member of “The Tom Joyner Morning Show.” Dominique is showing America what a comedienne is.
Tyler Craig Comedian has appeared on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” in 1997. Tyler has appeared on BET’s “Comic View,” Jamie Foxx’s “Laffapalooza!,” “That Comedy Show” and Martin Lawrence’s “First Amendment.” Originally from Atlanta, Tyler Craig has become a hometown favorite comedian known for his signature line, “And the moral of the story is” followed by a funny, but meaningful one liner. The style of this comedian appeals to individuals from all walks of life and he has been blessed with the opportunity to perform in some of the nation’s top comedy clubs. He has also opened for well known comics, including Cedric the Entertainer, Mo’Nique, Kat Williams, Chris Tucker, and more.
