Trina L.C. Sonnenberg has published her first book available in print. ‘My Journey A Lifetime of Verse…’ is a compilation of poems she’s written and self published, which encompass the last 27 years of her life, and breath-taking photographs of southwestern Colorado; by Jeff Sonnenberg. A domestic abuse survivor, Trina used writing as a way of coping, with her personal challenges. This book is the product of that mechanism. This book is not in her typical genre of marketing and home business information, but it is a step in the opposite direction. 'My Journey' is a compilation of verse, written over the last 27 years, accompanied by breathtaking photographs of southwestern Colorado.
A domestic abuse survivor, Trina used writing as a coping mechanism during her years of abuse. This book is the result of that personal struggle and has been published as a way of offering solidarity and hope to others who are in a similar situation.
She has also created a corresponding web site, centered on domestic abuse, providing resources and information for those who are experiencing abuse, or know someone who is. The book and web site are a product of her own personal experiences as a battered woman. The web site offers factual information to others whether they are in an abusive relationship or not.
