Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival to Feature Waterfront Exhibit Celebrating the Island Lifestyle

“Life on the Beach” will showcase a selection of beach mobiles from Woodies to dune buggies.

Hilton Head Island, SC, July 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing automotive and motorsports enthusiast event weeks, will pay homage to the 12-mile long barrier island it calls home with the Life on the Beach exhibit. Inspired by the island lifestyle and sponsored by Marriott Vacation Club, Life on the Beach is the fifth annual Life-themed exhibit on the Festival’s Motoring Midway. Past themes include Life on the Road, Life on the Farm and Life in the Service.

“The new Life exhibit has already generated a lot of attention for this year’s Festival. We always have fun developing the annual Life concept and are particularly excited about this year’s exhibit because it shows off what makes Hilton Head a unique destination,” said Carolyn Vanagel, president, Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance.

“To our knowledge, this is the first time a beach-themed vehicle exhibit has been showcased at a Concours. Since the inaugural Life exhibit in 2009, the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival has worked to offer exhibits unlike those at other automotive events,” said Phil Capossela, Chairman Emeritus for the Festival.

In addition to Life on the Beach, the Festival will again feature the On the Water exhibit of motoring marine craft, highlighting recreation, racing and cruising vessels of days gone by.
