Author Anna Faktorovich’s illustrated children’s book, “The Sloths and I,” takes young readers on an adventure through the jungles of the Amazon.

Through vibrant original artwork, it tells the story of a girl who grows tired of her suburban life and runs away to the Amazon jungle. There, she meets a group of talking sloths and enjoys some intense relaxation and lots of fun. Has she found a new home or will her old one call her back?
Anna Faktorovich is an English professor, poet, illustrator and book publisher. Her published works include two collections of poetry: “Improvisational Arguments,” and “Battle for Athens,” as well as a scholarly book, “The Rebellion Genre.” She has traveled to Italy, Israel, Ukraine, China, Canada, and all over the United States in her search for amazing creatures and adventures. She created over 28 illustrations for this book.
