California Parenting Institute Begins Construction on a New Parent Education Center

Santa Rosa, CA, July 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- California Parenting Institute (CPI) broke ground on a new Parent Education Center at 3650 Standish Avenue in Santa Rosa. Construction has begun and is slated to finish at the beginning of September 2013. The Parent Education Center expansion encompasses the renovation of 4,600 sq. ft. of existing warehouse space. As their client base has grown, so has their waiting list for parent education and child trauma treatment services. CPI has had a long range strategic plan for development of our campus in southwest Santa Rosa. Our Board of Directors has approved the next phase, the Parent Education Center (PEC) expansion. This will increase our service capacity to serve an additional 250 children and families each year and to enrich the programs being offered.

Robin Bowen, Executive Director of the California Parenting Institute states, “The new Parent Education Center will drive measurable impacts on CPI’s capacity to provide needed programs to Sonoma County families. The additional space will accommodate an expanded class schedule that will allow us to serve more families. With the expansion we also expect our waiting lists for all services to decrease.”
