Bridge Advisors Taps Robert C. Bernard to Head Alternative Investment Advisory and Consulting Business
Bridge Advisors, Inc. (Chicago, IL), an investment advisor specializing in alternative investment consulting and education, has appointed financial industry veteran Robert C. Bernard as the firm’s president.

(Chicago, IL), an investment advisor specializing in alternative investment consulting and education, has appointed financial industry veteran Robert C. Bernard as the firm’s president. Bridge provides alternative strategy and investment consulting services to investors and their advisors to help them understand, identify and develop allocation strategies to fit their individual objectives and risk profile.
Most recently, Mr. Bernard served as a partner at Parke Capital & Co. advising start-up and expansion-stage companies in their dealings with the venture capital community. Prior to Parke, Mr. Bernard was a financial advisor with New England Financial and AXA. His investment banking experience was developed at Brooks, Houghton & Co., and as a Managing Director with Kouri Capital, an international merchant banking firm with projects in emerging markets such as China, Russia, and India.
As a founding partner and Managing Director of Kouri spin-off Millennium Capital (Washington D.C.), Mr. Bernard was involved in senior-level business and government strategic planning and development of international telecommunications and media projects.
Mr. Bernard began his career after graduating from the Account Executive training program at Merrill, Lynch. He spent 5 years at their New York Madison Avenue office before joining institutional sales at L.F. Rothschild. He developed investment management skills with Technological Investment Management Inc. before spending 12 years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as a Vice President serving wealthy private investors, family offices, hedge funds and mid-size institutions.
Mr. Bernard earned a BA in Psychology at Adelphi University, and a Certificate in Financial Management from New York University Graduate School of Business. He currently holds three NASD licenses including 7, 63, 65-IAR.
