Faith-Based Independent Feature the Stopping Place Wraps Filming
Texas HD indie production features The Great Commandment theme.
Dallas, TX, September 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Stopping Place, a faith-based independent feature, completes its film production today.
The Stopping Place, the title of the film and also the name of the story’s setting was shot on location at the Schimelpfenig House, a restored Victorian home built in 1901 and located in Plano, Texas Historical Downtown District.
Sweet Picture Films and ReQuest Entertainment co-produced the film with Cory Turner directing.
Larry ‘Jack’ Dotson and Jamie Dugger star as the retired couple who move to a small Texas town to start a ministry for displaced individuals in addition to Drew Waters (Inspector Mom, Lifetime TV) who plays the role of Eddie Allen, a local Pentecostal minister.
The Stopping Place, scheduled for a November 2007 release, will be sold at Christian retailers and direct through affiliate organizations.
