Authors and Artists Chicago Brings Largest Gathering of Self Published Authors to City

Chicago, IL, September 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- 220 Communications presents the 4th Annual Authors and Artists Chicago Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 1-5 PM at Little Black Pearl Art Design Center, 1060 East 47th Street, in Chicago’s Hyde Park Community. This free, open-to-the public event features an eclectic mix of self published authors from around the country, as well as a number of surprises including guest speakers and prize drawings.

This year’s theme “My Story, My Way” highlights the struggle of the self published author to tell their story on their own terms. The event features an author marketplace and autographing session, guest lecturers and the popular charity drawing. Last year over $3000 in prizes was awarded to attendees. Participating authors include Essence Best Selling Author Janis Kearney, Brenda Taylor (recently featured in Italy’s Version of Vanity Fair and the Montel Williams Show), Michelle Larks and many more. Artists participating include Melvin King, Bill Hill, and Clifton Henri and Rashawn Taylor.
