Texas Trust Credit Union Expands Into Hurst
Texas Trust Credit Union's growth spree continues. The $760 million credit union opened its 11th branch, adding seven new employees.
Mansfield, TX, August 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Texas Trust Credit Union celebrated the opening of its 11th branch today. Located at 103 West Harwood in Hurst, this marks the credit union's first branch in that city, creating another convenient location to serve members.
Texas Trust renovated the 3,009-square-foot building, which it purchased earlier this year. The new branch offers a complete portfolio of services for both consumer and business financial needs, as well as four drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.
The branch, managed by Espy Taylor, employs 11, including seven recently new hired employees.
"The Hurst branch allows us to better serve members who live and work in the northern part of Tarrant County," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. "This branch is part of our expansion plan toward our goal of becoming a $1 billion financial institution."
Minge added, "Besides adding branches, we are adding 11 new Texas Trust branded ATMs in high traffic areas, including one in Hurst, to give members easier access to their money. We've also rolled out a variety of new services, such as mobile deposit, which is another way we are making it easy for members to do business with us."
With assets in excess of $760 million, Texas Trust is the largest credit union home mortgage lender in north Texas, and one of the largest credit unions overall in the region.
