Long-time Washington moving company, Bekins Northwest, becomes an interstate agent for Bekins Van Lines. Bekins Northwest - the official mover for the Seattle Seahawks - in located in seven Washington communities: Seattle, Tacoma, Lakewood, Olympia, Bremerton, Yakima and Pasco.

Although Bekins Northwest was founded by the Bekins family at the turn of the 20th century, the local moving company severed ties with the national mover. After Bekins was acquired by Wheaton World Wide Moving in 2012, Bekins Northwest decided to return to the Bekins brand.
