RTI Launches on EnovativeTV’s IPTV Platform in North America
Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) collaborates with EnovativeTV to launch in the USA and Canada.
New York, NY, August 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) the premier television channel of the Ivory Coast is launching its service on EnovativeTV (ETV), the leading distributor of African television over an IPTV platform in the USA and Canada.
The RTI Group currently hosts two channels – RTI1 and RTI2, with a mission to inform, educate and entertain the national public, while at the same time grow its international audience to present a vivid and realistic picture of the nation as it reconstructs following its years of conflict. Through its partnership with ETV, RTI can now reach thousands of African immigrants living in North America.
The launch will take place in both Washington DC and in New York City and will cater to critical presentations and discussions which will delve into the topic of The Role of Media in the Reconstruction of the Ivory Coast as Exemplified by RTI. On Saturday, August 24, 2013 the launch will take place at The Republic of Cote d’Ivoire Embassy located at 2424 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20008. There will be food and drinks at 2:00pm with the function officially commencing at 3:00pm. The New York launch is by invitation only and will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Permanent Mission of the African Union to the United Nations, New York, NY 10017. The event will commence at 3:30pm and include a panel discussion with representatives from RTI, the Special Advisor of the president for Telecommunications and ICT and other panelists, giving their views on how the Ivory Coast can reconstruct its economy, political institutions and infrastructure.
The main guest speakers at this event from RTI will be the Program Director Toure Sanga, and Journalist/News Anchor Diarrassouba Tendo. The launch will also host special speakers such as H.E. Ambassador, Permanent Observer Téte Antonio, H.E. Ambassador of Cote d’Ivoire in the United States Daouda Diabate and H.E. Ambassador, Permanent Representative Youssoufou Bamba as well as Kone Lacina, Special Advisor to the President of the Ivory Coast for Telecommunications and ICT.
The partnership with RTI is part of EnovativeTV’s continued efforts to develop innovative ways, to provide quality global programming and local content for its audience worldwide.
